IDE@L Internship Program
IDE@L
is committed to waging peace, building hope, and fighting
un-employment, and interns have the opportunity to work in the
field of Information Technology that contributes a role for our
society and helps to this mission.
The
interns make vital contributions to the our work. In turn, IDE@L
provides a substantive learning experience that serves as a
basis for interns to explore their career options and to develop
professional skills.
Internships
are offered during three sessions per year to undergraduate
juniors and seniors, graduate students, and recent graduates
(graduated in the past 24 months). Prospective interns are those
who have demonstrated superior academic ability and who have
coursework, professional or personal experience, and career
interests related to Information Technology.
Interns
are required to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week, although
many choose to work up to 40 hours a week and minimum period for
internship is 45das.
Application
Procedures
Write us through
email and send an application. Mention details of you
interesting field e.g. Software development, Hardware
technician/Engineer, Sales, Marketing, Financial Management or
General Administration. Apply with academic certificates, copy
of CNIC, character Certificate, Reference Certificate,
parent's/guardian's under-tacking about no involvement in
political or religious activities.
Many students receive academic credit
for their internships through their university or college. Those
who wish to receive academic credit should indicate so on the
application and provide the internship supervisor's name and
address within their institution/department. The necessary forms
from the academic institution must be submitted upon acceptance
to the program.
